KCB Bank Uganda has renewed its sponsorship deal with the KCB-Nkumba Volleyball Club, pledging a total of 100 million shillings to support the team’s activities in the new season.

The announcement was made today at the bank’s head office in Kampala, reaffirming KCB Bank’s continued commitment to sports development in Uganda.

Speaking at the event, KCB Bank Managing Director Edgar Byamah said the partnership represents the bank’s dedication to nurturing local talent and promoting national pride.

The partnership between KCB Bank and the seven-time National League champions began in 2019 and has since powered the team to major victories both locally and regionally, including the NSSF KAVC International and Genocide Cup titles.

Club Manager Godwin Ssenyondo welcomed the renewed support, saying the funds will go a long way in covering operational costs, player welfare, and training.

The team Captain Dinah Akello added that the sponsorship serves as a morale booster for players, inspiring them to give their best and continue representing both the club and the bank with pride.

Beyond volleyball, KCB Bank Uganda continues to invest in other sports disciplines such as rugby, golf, motor rallying, and community runs, including the KCB Kyambogo Ultra Challenge Run.
