Cricket teams from Lira/Lango sub-region returned safely on Sunday 

Lango : Lira Schools Return Safely from Gulu as All 4 Teams Reach Cricket Finals at Regional Competition. Cricket teams from Lira/Lango sub-region returned safely on Sunday after a strong outing at the regional competition in Gulu City over the weekend. 

All four teams that represented the Lango sub-region reached the finals and put up impressive performances.

The schools that flew the Lira/Lango flag were:

Ojwina Primary School U13 Boys and U13 Girls Railways Primary School – U11 Boys and U11 Girls 

Sandra, Lango Sub-region Cricket Coordinator who also doubled as coach, confirmed the teams’ safe return today. She praised the players for their discipline, teamwork, and performance at the Gulu event.

The results highlight the growing strength of grassroots cricket in Lango, with both boys’ and girls’ teams competing at the highest level in their age groups.
