Ayebare, Musherure and Juma Sworn In As Ministers at State House
President Yoweri Museveni presides over the swearing-in ceremony of new ministers at State House Entebbe.
ENTEBBE- UGANdA – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Tuesday 11th August , Presided over the swearing-in of three new ministers at State House Entebbe The ministers sworn in are: Hon. Amb. Adonia Ayebare – Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Shartsi Kutesa Musherure – Minister of State for Finance, Planning and Economic Development in charge of Micro-Finance - Hon. Witonze Juma – Minister of State for Internal Affairs
Speaking after the ceremony, President Museveni congratulated the new appointees and tasked them to prioritize service delivery. He urged them to focus on eliminating corruption and inefficiency in government through proper supervision and accountability. The President emphasized that Ugandans expect results and that ministers must ensure public resources are used effectively for development.
The swearing-in adds to the ongoing cabinet adjustments aimed at strengthening government performance ahead of key national programs.
