Ongom attributed the positive performance in both schools to “strong coordination and cooperation among school management, teachers, and Parent-Teacher Associations.” “I thank the office of the District Education Officer, Moses Agel, for the excellent work he is doing to improve education standards in Alebtong,” Ongom said. Capacity-building meetings with headteachers are producing visible results.

“Our focus has been to strengthen the capacity of headteachers so that they can effectively supervise teachers and improve learning outcomes. We will continue monitoring schools and supporting headteachers to ensure quality education is delivered to every child in Alebtong District. I also urge teachers to remain committed to their duties and always prioritize the learners.” Jennifer Adongo, Agoro Primary School:
“The regular capacity-building sessions have strengthened school leadership and improved supervision of teachers. At Agoro, we ensure teachers are in class on time, lessons are conducted as scheduled, and learners receive quality education.” Patricia Apio, Adoma Primary School
