Residents of Abeja Sub-county in Amolatar District are in shock following the tragic death of a three-month-old baby in a suspected animal attack.
The incident occurred on the morning of March 3 at around 10:00 a.m. According to information gathered from the area, the child’s mother, identified as Akullu Robina, had briefly left the baby inside the house to prepare breakfast in a nearby home.
It is reported that it was raining at the time.
Upon returning moments later, the mother discovered that a pig had entered the house and attacked the infant. A neighbour, Ojok Tom, responded quickly after being alerted, and together they rushed the child to Amai Hospital in an effort to save her life.
