Lira, Uganda – Lira-based Blacks Power FC are on the verge of being crowned champions of the FUFA Big League 2026 after a dominant 4-0 win over Mbale Heroes on Match Day 29. The victory puts Blacks Power top of the table with 54 points, holding a 3-point lead over second-placed Kigezi Homeboyz, who sit on 51 points after a 2-0 loss to Kataka on the same match day. With only one match left, Blacks Power need at least a point against Onduparaka in Arua to seal the title. A win or draw would confirm Blacks Power’s promotion to Uganda Premier League .
