Paul Kaiggwa, President of Motor Cross Clubs in conjunction with the Federation of Motor sports Clubs of Uganda (FMU) said any willing person can become part of the district executives at this stage. Kaiggwa confirmed this during QFM’s sports show on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, adding that the huge turnout by people of Lango during the Motor Cross event in Omito, -Lira City last time motivated the Federation to expand the sport across Lango.

He said the process will align with the Sports Act and National Council of Sports guidelines to ease development of MotorSports .
Brain Owera on the Left
Brian Owera, who is already acting in the Lira City executive Motor club has called upon all districts to establish leadership structures. Owera is also calling on all willing persons to come up and fill the gaps. Kaiggwa noted that motor sports creates jobs for timers, trainers, and coaches among others Kaiggwa appealed to Lango residents to embrace the sport due to the benefits it brings.
